Abstract

The design of this research is a two-cycle collaborative classroom action research that aims to determine the increase in student learning activity after the application of the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Devision) Type Cooperative learning model using environmental media in Civics Class IV subjects at SD Negeri 173273 Siborongborong, (2) to find out improvement of student achievement after the application of the cooperative learning model STAD Type (Student Teams Achievement Devision) using environmental media in Civics subjects. Fourth grade students of SD Negeri 173273 Siborongborong. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 173273 Siborongborong. obtained by using the method of observation and test method. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and quantitative descriptive analysis methods. The results showed there is an increase in student learning activity by 9.78% after the application of the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Devision) Cooperative learning model using environmental media in Civics Class IV subjects at SD Negeri 173273 Siborongborong. This can be seen from the increase in student learning activity scores in the first cycle of 70.27% and in the second cycle the cycle is 80.05%, (2) there is an increase in student learning achievement of 14.55% after the application of the cooperative learning model. STAD (Student Teams Achievement Devision) uses environmental media in Civics for Class IV students at SD Negeri 173273 Siborongborong. This can be seen from the increase in student achievement scores in the first cycle of 81.16% and in the second cycle the cycle is 95.71%.
